The last band in our Summer Music Series, The BoomBachs, performed at Golden Triangle Mall this past Saturday, July 28. Infusing sounds of jazz, rock, and hip-hop into their music, The BoomBachs entranced the crowd with an hour-long set. We were excited to have this Denton TX local band close out the Summer Music Series with a bang!

About The BoomBachs

A composition project at the University of North Texas brought this group together almost four years ago. They actively seek to take hip-hop in a more musical direction, and it shows; with hip-hop inspired vocals and jazz/rock-inspired instrumentals, the BoomBachs are able to command a crowd, no matter if they’re performing at a Denton house show or on a festival stage. One of the most unique sounds to come out of the Denton community, we were happy to have them perform at Golden Triangle!

Summer Style at Golden Triangle Mall

Guys, looking to upgrade your summertime fashion? DFW shopping can be pretty difficult, but Denton’s very own Golden Triangle Mall has the perfect style solutions for all of your needs!

Dad Chic

The newest trend in men’s style is dressing like our dads used to; if dad fashion is just your speed, Golden Triangle has everything you need! The perfect “dad look” is made up of three things: an oversized shirt, some nice denim/khaki shorts, and a clean, simple shoe.

Summer Music Series: Mobile Commotion at Golden Triangle

The Summer Music Series is in full swing at Golden Triangle Mall! We’re excited to showcase some of the best local music Denton has to offer every Saturday in June from 7-9.

We’re giving the Denton music the main stage all summer long outside on the foot court patio. The next artist taking the stage: Mobile Commotion from Sanger, Texas.

Summer Music Series: About Mobile Commotion

These aren’t your typical high-schoolers. Well, if they are, they surely don’t play like it. Based out of Sanger, Mobile Commotion plays upbeat rock-n-roll in the Denton area. Their unique sound is inspired by the sounds of The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Velvet Underground, Radiohead, Nirvana and more.

Mobile Commotion has performed at staple Denton venues such as LSA Burger. Made up of Lauren Peña, Ethan Faircloth and Shep Cooper – they released their first EP in March entitled Dizzy. You can listen to to here it on Spotify.

The talented group of high-schoolers who “love music more than most things,” will be taking the stage at Golden Triangle Mall Saturday, June 9 at 7:00 PM!
