Do you love listening to Denton music? You’re in luck, Golden Triangle’s Summer Music Series rocks on with Dallas-based indie, power-pop band Droo’s Peace Crush! This seven member group possesses a diverse sound featuring a pop-heavy mix of energetic melodies, sounds and collaborations. Their music is influenced by many genres, styles, and periods.

We’re so excited to host them on June 23, 2018 out on the food court patio from 7-9 PM.

Droo’s Peace Crush can best be described as a group of friends who make music together. With velvety vocals backed by punching beats and alluring guitar riffs, they can’t be contained to a single genre. Their unique sound will keep you coming back for multiple listens.

Originally from Orange, California, Droo’s Peace Crush has performed across multiple venues in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area since 2015.

Jade Nickol

Jade is an Americana Singer/Songwriter who grew up in a small lake town outside Dallas, Texas. Nickol began her entertainment career when a music teacher noticed that she had “talent beyond her years.” She has since acted in various commercials, short films, industrials and in a feature film, “From Above.” After winning her town’s idol contest at ten years old, Jade now dedicates her extra time to her music career.

Mobile Commotion

High schoolers that rock, Mobile Commotion plays upbeat rock-and-roll in the Denton area and recently released an EP called ‘Dizzy’ out now on Spotify and iTunes!

Matt Grigsby

Matt Grigsby arrived in Denton 10 years ago with a cheap guitar he didn’t know how to play. Now as the Director of the Denton Folk Festival and Co-Founder of the Denton Songwriters Guild, his growing voice is one to watch. Matt is known for his signature fingerstyle guitar, soulful baritone, and Folk/Americana sound. Grigsby’s songs can be both tragic and humorous, often within the same song. Denton Event Calendar: Taste of North Texas

Looking for things to do in Denton, TX? You’re in luck. Golden Triangle Mall is so excited to host the Taste of North Texas for the second straight year on Thursday, March 29 from 5:30-8:00 PM! This amazing event features some of the best food and drink from 35 local restaurants in Denton.

About The Kiwanis Club of Denton

Although the food is the main attraction, the cause is even better! Taste of North Texas supports The Kiwanis Club of Denton, which is a non-profit corporation that provides low-cost or no-cost medical, dental and prescription assistance to disadvantaged children in the Denton area through its Children’s Clinic. Proceeds from this event are used to support the efforts of the clinic and other youth services the club provides.

Gigi’s Cafe

The Taste of North Texas is returning to Golden Triangle Mall for the second year in a row! Enjoy the tastes of local North Texas dining from places like Chiloso Mexican Bistro, Beth Marie’s, Mellow Mushroom, Kolache Haven and more. You can buy tickets online or at the door. Taste of North Texas is benefiting the Denton Kiwanis Children’s Clinic in 2018 so be sure to come out and support and enjoy some great Denton food.
